Freedom

Freedom is a really important factor for a happy life for all life on Earth. Even animals like birds and fish would like to have freedom. But we human are so selfish tat we just caught them and put them is a cage. Compare to a teenage life is it about the same if you have a really strict parents. They will just lock a teenage in like a bird. Freedom is important for teenagers. It is the respect for them, by not invading their life or so called privacy. Although teenagers need freedom, but parents shouldn't give them too much of it. As they might mixs around with bad company and thus lead them to the wrong path in life. This is my perspective though. In serious term of life. Like freedom for some religious group when they are under japanese occupation. Freedom then is something everyone long for but dun dare to get it as they are afraid of death. However some might say that death can also be freedom at the point to time.

My Family............

My family consist of me, my brother, father and mother. My brother is 2 years older than me. My family does care about money, but which family doesn't. My family think that money is something that can cause people to become friends to foe and it is also something that is needed for living. We take money seriously, and take only what is ours. We will try not to waste money on things that is a want instead of a need. We will buy our wants only when we had saved up enough or when my parent feel that we did well in some works, studies.

My parent tells us that studies is for our own future and doesn't give us stress on studies. I feel that I have a great mother, she cares for us but doesn't limit us on many things.

The only person working in my family is my father. He is always overseas for his work. So he hardly have time to spend with us. He will be back in Singapore once every month, but he will still be working instead of spending time with us. So I feel that my relationship with my mother is much closer than my father. For working my family doesn't really talk much about it, just that my mother will be telling us to work hard now. So that we can get a good job in the future and not suffer.

As for religion my family is a free-thinker, because my maternal side is a Christian and the other is a Buddhist. So my parent decided to be a free-thinker. We do go to church and temples, but we are not really into those things. It is hard to say that we don't believe in any of the gods and what ever thing that is going on in the religion, but we are not those who cares about it much.

My family feels that kinship is very important. So we as a family (family in the sense of my uncle ,cousin........) have family gathering every month and we will meet up sometime for different event, and I love meeting up with my cousin and uncles and aunts. We will have lots of fun doing lots of stuff.

So in the I agree with the attitude of my family , as we are a family and we should do things together and solve problems together.
